Unleashing the Potential of Our Future Female Leaders

It all started with my search for an image. ” It shouldn’t be that hard to find a photo of two women in a  coaching session!” I said to myself.

Then I started contemplating how things are changing, which is excellent! However, we still have a long way to go regarding equality.

Don’t get me wrong — equality works both ways, but there are a few ways in which I’d like to work with female leaders to help them develop confidence, understand biases, and develop leadership skills.

Here’s how we’ll do it! 

STEP ONE: Research Interview

Individual research interviews provide a rich, qualitative understanding of individual attitudes and behaviours, team dynamics, and culture. By conducting these interviews, individuals, teams and organisations can gather insights that help inform strategies to create a more positive and productive work environment.

STEP TWO: Life Styles Inventory™ (LSI)

In today’s dynamic work environment, continuous development and feedback are crucial for personal and professional growth. One powerful tool that has gained prominence in recent years is the Life Styles Inventory™ (LSI).

The LSI helps individuals develop constructive thinking and behavioural styles that are proven to be related to job performance and the quality of interpersonal relationships.

How it works

The LSI has three parts:

LSI1: Self-Description – The individual self-assesses their thinking styles, personal effectiveness and satisfaction at work and home.

LSI2: Description by Others Up to 10 of the person’s peers, managers and/or subordinates provide feedback on their behaviour and effectiveness.

Collection of Data: The two results are compared to identify the individual’s confirmed strengths, unrecognised strengths, blind spots and stumbling blocks.

The individual is guided through the findings, and if necessary, a strategy can be developed to help change how they think and behave.

LSI provides a holistic view of an individual’s performance, strengths, and areas for improvement, promoting self-awareness, encouraging targeted development, and improved communication.

STEP THREE: 1:1 Coaching

Our innovative coaching program is designed to empower leaders by bridging the gap between their perceived behaviour and the actual impact of their actions.

We always create a safe space and use the experiential learning methodology (learning by doing). This environment allows learners to observe their behaviours without judgement, increasing self-awareness and encouraging them to practice new skills.

Using the research interview and LSI results to customise targeted coaching, leaders gain the insights and skills needed to practice new behaviours that positively influence their teams, their organisations and relationships in their personal lives.
